Mel is at The Offenders show tomorrow night doing some photography.
It’s £5 to get there, box office closes at about 4pm, but arrangements can be made via The Offenders MySpace if this is inconvenient!
See you there!
So, there is a new collection Mel took on her day out to Durham today. There are some pretty beautiful shots on here from it, so check that out.
Also, Mel said she’d kill me if I didn’t mention the new Alkaline Trio album is out on July 1st, and that you can check out their new single on either theirs or her MySpace.
The Church photography done with Jon Smith is now on the website, a lot sooner than expected. Just so you know.
So, there is finally an update to this site. Mel has kindly donated some of her pictures from shows she’s been to. These pictures are unproffessional, and taken from the crowds of shows, but they’re something worth seeing, she has a brilliant collection of these pictures, and was kind enough to show a couple of them for the site.
As you can see, the only two she was really wanting to put on this site were the Alkaline Trio ones, they’re amazing. The others required touch ups and things she wasn’t really wanting to do- lazy!
Among her favourites, she has two taken from an Alkaline Trio show, and a few from shows such as Justin Timberlake and even 911 =P
In other news, Mel will be doing photography for the upcoming show The Offenders are putting on, which will be up on the site- the first actual collection the website will show. Exciting, eh?
Shooting for “The City is my Playground” begins on Thursday with Jon Smith.
“Also, Matt Skiba and Heather Gabel have a new Art Exibition, entitled Dear Friends, from March 29th. Both Matt and Heather are big influences, so you may want to check that out. I assume Heather will put some of the work on her MySpace.”

So, to bide your enthusiasm and interest of the site, I’ve uploaded some past photogaphy, taken last year. This can be seen to the left of this page in the link. Enjoy.

Hello there, welcome to the site.
This is brand new, so please don’t expect any work up for the next few days. However, a new project will be starting up next week, so I believe I’ll start from there. Expect news of this in the week, from a project entitled “The City is my Playground”, by Mel Roberts and Jon Smith.
